Big Drag doesn’t sound like a new band. They don’t sound like leather pants wearing 19 year olds who just picked up a guitar and decided to peel a few out in their garage. They sound fully formed, plucked from a certain section of a certain sound wave and processed directly through the input wire of a speaker to exist in the vast empty spaces between my ears. Big Drag feels like a swirling, multi-colored portal opened in my living room and out stepped a band, tambourines smashing, vocals drifting on the wind, guitars squawking, completely unaware that no one even knew who they were.
