I will full admit that this less-than-two minute fire bomb by The Wax Museums does nothing to push the boundaries of originality. And I couldn’t care less. This is the type of shredding punk rock I’ve been missing in my life and to have it blast me in the face on a drizzly Monday morning is the best sort of wake-up call I could hope from the internet.
You can thank the fantastic folk at Chicago’s Trouble In Mind records for continuing to plumb the depths of face-melting rock and roll. I’ll just say a few prayers that rock ‘n’ roll with a rusty nail pierced back bone is still existing these days.
The album releases on the aforementioned Trouble In Mind on June 28th.
