Last year’s birthday was a big one, thirty, and we had a party to match the occasion. The Moondoggies (performing as the Allman Butters), a Tom Petty sing along with American Girls, Pickwick standing all but on top of each other to fit on the Blue Moon stage and Kelli Schaefer helped Josh and me have a birthday we’ll never forget. All our birthday‘s at The Blue Moon have been unforgettably awesome for us, because there’s really no better way to celebrate making it through another year with some of your favorite bands on stage and some of your favorite people in the crowd at your favorite dive bar where it is a party for everyone.
So why fuck with a great thing? Next Friday, January 13th Josh and I will be celebrating our 31st birthday and we’ll be doing it with some kick ass local rock bands: The Golden Blondes, Dude York and secret headliners HOT DAMN! As tradition dictates, we’ve asked one our very favorite bands who’ve out grown playing stages the size of The Blue Moon to headline the evening. And we couldn’t be more excited to see them back on this stage where we first made their acquaintance on the strangest night we have ever spent at the Blue Moon, which is saying something indeed.
Its going to be loud. Its going to be sloppy. Its going to be awesome. And we hope you can join us.

Though if any of our previous birthday’s are any warning, you’ll have to be there well ahead of show time to guarantee yourself a spot. You want to guarantee yourself a spot:
Plus, awesome headliner whose video we can’t share, but who make us feel a little like these guys.
And a big thanks to Sacha Maxim from Posse, who also happens to be a kick ass poster artist.
