Throughout the year I think my favorite set of shots I took were during Thee Emergency’s epic set at Georgetown Music Festival. The above photo of Dita Vox and Nick Detroit may be my favorite single shot I took all year, where I couldn’t have gotten better light or movement if I’d set the shot up in a studio. Front Row will be our ongoing photo post from shows we attend.
I am pleased to say the name rings completely true for Thee Emergency’s rocking show Friday night (january 12th) at Neumo’s where they blew the Hell’s Belles audience away. Of course, we at SOTS knew what was coming… but somehow these kids keep getting better and better. Hope the rest of the West Coast is ready for these guys…. their first show is January 17 in San Francisco.
