The Daily Choice: Lilacs & Champagne - Sensations

Lilacs & Champagne may have failed in crafting a traditionally narrative song with “Sensations” but if anyone ever believed that The Daily Choice was about championing traditional values, you might be at the wrong party. “Sensations” isn’t a song so much as it is a moment in a day, or an atmosphere that lasts just long enough to encapsulate a certain emotional feeling. Turning on “Sensations” isn’t an attempt to wait for the chorus to come on, it’s like walking in to the haze of the forgotten past. A cloudy series of photos loosely stitched together with brain matter.

Lilacs & Champagne’s album is out now on Mexican Summer.
