The Daily Choice: Gross Relations - Cut The Final Scene

Raven Sings The Blues introduced me to Gross Relations last year, and though they’ve faded from my memory bank a bit, this reintroduction is as catchy a track as I’ve heard in months. I keep putting the RTSB site on play and then stopping in my tracks when “Cut The Final Scene” starts two-stepping out of my speakers. The song bops around in a sort of hyperkinetic teleporter, the voices reaching out of a sugar-coated void, and it draws me in. This is the first of two amazing bands yet to release full-lengths, and with a tear on my cheek, can I say, this makes me sad.

Gross Relations put out an EP on RSTB Records last year. Well worth searching out.
