VHS Mixtape 10.12: Big Troubles, JEFF The Brotherhood, High Places, Julian Lynch

Another week, another cardboard box full of vhs tapes thrown at your doorstep. This week we have new ones from Big Troubles, JEFF The Brotherhood, High Places and Julian Lynch.

Big Troubles - She Smiles For Pictures from Slumberland Records on Vimeo.

I got to admit this video featuring the throwaways from that 1990s RPG Shadowrun and a bunch of monkey-sloth beasts frolicking in a zoo is almost too cute for me. I’ll endure though, don’t you worry.

JEFF The Brotherhood, High Places and Julian Lynch after the jump …

JEFF The Brotherhood really lay stake to their claim of being the new White Stripes with this thudding bit of metal-light.

High Places - Sophia from Thrill Jockey Records on Vimeo.

High Places you are weird and awesome and this video of a window and a dancing lady from Telepathe somehow ropes me in and keeps me entranced.

Julian Lynch: Back (Official Video) from Ezra Ewen on Vimeo.

Julian Lynch just makes beautiful things. It isn’t a creative process I don’t think, Julian Lynch just opens his eyes or his mouth or his and beautiful things emerge.
