Hardly Art, quickly becoming the best indie label releasing on the West Coast these days, is releasing The Ornament, the full-length debut of Grant Olsen’s (one-half of Arthur and Yu) Gold Leaves. If you’ve even poked your nose in to the old Sound On The Sound beehive as of late, you’ll have seen our unabashed fervor for this beautiful album. I would love this album because I have really been enjoying the two songs I have heard from them thus far - Cruel & Kind and The Ornament, and I have a really good feeling about the album as a whole.
I’m particularly excited about this band because though I always liked Arthur and Yu, none of their songs ever connected with me the way these two have. Grant has one of my favorite voices in any Seattle band right now, so it’s great to hear him singing such well-crafted songs.

I’d love a copy. I’ve been following Grant Olsen for a few years now and can’t seem to get enough of him. Spent most of my money at Doe Bay so I dont really have the cash for the record. Pick me Please!

You guys are the best! So many amazing giveaways. Would absolutely LOVE to win this one - what I have heard of Gold Leaves sounds incredible - I’m dying to get my hands on this cd! Thanks for turning me on to yet another awesome band
