The Daily Choice: Bleached - Think of You

Let us be honest: everyone was sad when Mika Miko, torch-bearers of the L.A. art-rock scene, decided to call it quits.  Let us be honest again: everything that’s tumbled out of that fallout has been just as enjoyable, if not more so.  Jessica and Jennifer Clavin’s Bleached drops the experimentation of Mika Miko in favor of a more straight forward punk-spiked garage rock. It kicks and it thrashes and if you talk down to it you might get some spit on you, but on first listen it’s an enjoyable little fuzzed out ditty.

Bleached play The Hemlock in SF tonight and Eli’s Mile High Club in Oakland tomorrow night.
