The Daily Choice: Led Er Est - Lonesome XOXO

I’ve been curious for a while about when kraut-rock disciples Led Er Est would unleash another throbbing blast of darkness on my world, and I’m happy to say - right now.  ”Lonesome XOXO” feels like the soundtrack to a Dario Argento film set in space.  It’s one part snaky bass-line, one part fear-based propulson, with everything wrapped in a tinny strung out swath of fuzz.  It makes me want to huddle in a dark corner and dance with myself all at the same time.

The May 12″ is out on Captured Tracks now.
