A Sasquatch Soul Review

Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears ::: Sunday 5/29 at 4.30pm on the Yeti Stage

… Speaking of Soul, this year’s Sasquatch offers no shortage of alternatives to the usual indie suspects including an array of R’n B acts that are tailor made for a festive atmosphere. Aloe Blacc’s latest single has been popping up all over the place lately and the video for it (below) is damn cute. Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears have been slowly bringing the funk back to the masses for a few years now while Wheedles Groove are legends in their own right on that count. Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings are at this point an international sensation, and Fitz and the Tantrums are representing for the West Coast this time around. Peep a video from each below and find a reason to get at least one of these bands on your schedule this weekend.

Aloe Blacc ::: Saturday 5/28 at 3pm on the Bigfoot Stage

Fitz and the Tantrums ::: Sunday 5/29 at 2.15pm on the Sasquatch Mainstage

Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings ::: Monday 5/30 at 5.15pm on the Sasquatch Mainstage

Wheedle’s Groove ::: Sunday 5/29 at 1pm on the Bigfoot Stage
