Like we’ve said over and over again, we’re really excited about Ravenna Woods new mini-album Valley of The Headless Men. So much so, we’re hosting a party in their honor this Friday to celebrate its release at Columbia City Theater. Joining Ravenna Woods and Sound on the Sound in celebrating will be Weinland (from PDX) and Fort Union, the new project from Jace Krause and Jake Rohr of Friday Mile. And based on how fast tickets are selling, it seems like you all are just as excited about the album and show too.

Last time I saw Ravenna Woods, I was at a house party. THEY RULE! I go to the Columbia City Theater all the time. I love this band, I love the venue and I’ve been keeping my Friday night free just for this show. I’ll buy a ticket if I need to but if I win a ticket, that would be super sweet!! True story: I had a dream that I watched Ravenna Woods playing in the woods, with guitars made from trees and fog everywhere. The best part is they were all Centaurs!!! This all somehow makes sense to me and I would love to see parts of my dream played out in reality.

I saw Ravenna Woods at CHBP last year and was really impressed. I love to see them live with a better sound system at their disposal. Columbia City Theater is one of the few venues I haven’t been to in Seattle yet. It would be great to see them there.
