If I Had Known, I’d Be Fine: A November Mixtape
November is just getting ready to bid as adieu and I’m barely squeezing in my declared “monthly” mixtape. If I Had Known, I’d Be Fine is a sort of blustery mix of psych-rock, experimental sounds and a slight brushing of grime-coated pop music. At times it’s bloated, big and weird and nearly cosmic, but you can’t drift in outer-space forever, so it’s studded with the sort of cruisy pop-n-rock I usually spatter these pages with.
I’m still resolved to make this a tracklistless endeavor, but I know the majority of you hanker for one as soon as you hit play. I offer again, if you love a song or the whole album, just write me an email (email@example.com) giving me a choice line, or an actual time in which you’re the most sweaty with enjoyment, and I’ll certainly respond with the song you’re the most curious about. I’ll tell you this though, no artist on this mixtape hasn’t been featured on The Daily Choice at some point in its history, the majority in the month of November. So put on your Sherlock Holmes hat, stuff a plug in your pipe, and get to searching. It’ll be fun, I promise.
Happy T-Day everyone. Would love to hear your feedback.
