Next Tuesday, the much anticipated and long-awaited second full length from The Moondoggies will be released. Today you can get a sneak peek of Tidelands with you eyes and your ears. Above is the just released animated video for “Empress of the North” and you can listen to the album in its entirety on The Moondoggies facebook.

We’ll have a full review on Tidelands in the coming week, but we can tell you today that the album was well worth the wait and showcases the best of the band. They’ve managed to make another quintessentially Northwest album, that is sure to be our fall soundtrack.

The Moondoggies are celebrating their record release this Saturday with a show at The Pyramid Alehouse, where they’ll be joined by Thao & the Get Down Stay Down. You can pre-purchase tickets here.
