The Daily Choice: Mantles - Don’t Lie

Let me say this: my love of the new garage rock revivalist sect is starting to wane.  Quite honestly, I skimmed this new psych/garage track from previously unheard of by me band Mantles only caught my attention because of their, and my, homeward location - San Francisco.

As I listen to it now, I’m interested still, it’s cruisily rocking like the best of this receding wave of psych, but am stunned, phased, even blank on what to write.  I feel like I’ve done it before.  And this makes me worry … what’s next?

Trend tsunami I demand you, crash over me.
