The Daily Choice: Karen O & The Kids - Building All Is Love

Things I love:

1.  Jumping on the bandwagon wholeheartedly for Spike Jonze’s amazing film Where The Wild Things Are.  Don’t let hater’s hate throw you.  This isn’t too hipster, this isn’t too plotless, and this certainly isn’t your childhood account of Maurice Sendak’s beloved children’s book.  It’s a respectful, wholly original take on the material, and if you don’t like it the first time, I highly recommend seeing it again and again (not after drinking two bottles of wine and sitting in the front row of the IMAX theatre - that I don’t recommend).

2.  This song off Karen O’s, of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, soundtrack.  I can’t say, in album form, I love the entire album, but it certainly has it’s moments and it fits particularly beautifully in to the mood and ambiance of the film. This is a a kid-filled burst of energy that makes me think of running through sunlit fields filled with imagination.  Usually my imagination trends towards

3.  Spike Jonze’s website.  You will love it too.  Love it so even.
