The Daily Choice: The Sandwitches - Back to the Sea
Living in San Francisco right now is a little like standing a swirling tornado of lo-fi, garage-y goodness. It’s a big blustery terrain and oft times, this wind can overwhelm. You fight to stand up. You futilely reach out to grab the leg of a passing cat. It can be a little much.
But in the midst of the big gust, you stumble upon gems like The Sandwitches, a genre-skipping trio that has had me smiling a shit-eater all weekend. Sometimes it’s 60s doo-wop, sometimes it’s moody rock ‘n’ roll, sometimes it’s just good old fashioned fun, always it’s infused with a bit of grime this city of mine is renowned for.
Reach out for the life-line, it’ll help pull you in.
