CHBP Prep: Stream some new Maldives

The Maldives at Cafe Vita ::: Photo by Josh Lovseth

Right now at the Maldives myspace, you can stream three new studio tracks Tequila/Someday EP, which physically hits stores tomorrow, courtesy of Mt. Fuji Records. Featuring five songs that’ve been thoroughly road tested, two of them being live recordings, this release is really just a pre-cursor for the band’s LP, titled Listen to Thunder, to arrive in September.

The Maldives are playing Capitol Hill Block Party, on Saturday July 25th on the 21+ Neumos stage. They’ll also be at the Doe Bay Festival, and the Tractor Tavern 15th anniversary shows at the end of August. You should definitely be at at least one of those shows. We might be at all of ‘em.
