If You’re Still in Seattle Tonight… And Not at The Dirty Projectors
Seattleites tend to escape over holiday weekends, but if you’re still in town tonight we recommend you head on over to The Blue Moon for What What Now.
Since catching their first show in a Roosevelt living room last October, we’ve made it a point to try to make it to as many What What Now shows as possible. The band offers a raw exuberant take on soft-hearted punk, with a few psychedelic surf riffs on the side. The band’s been writing new material fast and furiously, and we’ve been promised by bassist Brian, the band will be debuting a few new tunes tonight.
Also playing the Moon tonight are Rad Touch, Prometheans, and Danger Aliens from the Scary Side of Planet Moon. Since it’s four bands, the show will start at 9pm, and the cover is 5$.
See you there!

It certainly looks like one. But I’m not sure, so I’ll make a point of asking the bands who made it and report back.

Took a few days and a couple emails, but I have the answer for you Lar206.
The poster was created by Jeff Kirby (of Rad Touch and The Stranger) — the image is from the cover of a Fantagraphics comic called “Uptight” by Jordan Crane.
