The Daily Choice: Ty Segall - Go Alone

I’ll say this Ty Segall has beautiful hair.  I caught this well-coiffed cherub of a musician performing at a little spot in San Francisco my first weekend in this city, and oh how the man could shake his shiny tendrils of hair.

And if that wasn’t enough, the man could play, a crushing, fast paced, high energy assault of garage rock.  Shayde, of The Fresh and Onlys, plays bass for this beautifully mopped man, and his bounce of low tones had the crowd dutifully hopping from toe to toe.

On a side note, for the first time possibly ever, I lost two copies of Ty Segall’s brand new vinyl … in to the gaping maw of a photo booth.  It was strange, but it has somehow marked my first encounter with the man with pretty hair, Ty Segall.
