The Crocodiles
San Diego’s Crocodiles are strangely what I’ve been looping this sunny afternoon. “Strangely” because they’re pretty sad bastard lyrically but sunny-California musically. After enjoying their song “Neon Jesus” thoroughly for the past few months, I came across a few free tracks from new album Summer of Hate, out April 28 on Fat Possum Records. They’re really good.

The Crocodiles are currently on tour with The Faint and Ladytron, a tour which stops by the Showbox SODO on May 2. I might need to go to this show.
