Halloween Night at The Skylark in West Seattle - “Come As You Aren’t: Battle of the Bands.” A few of your favorite local bands will be masquerading as other bands for their performance. I’m high anticipating H is for Hellgate as Sleater-Kinney and Speedmop as local legends The Sonics. Even better: ”Bands get extra points for costumes, and special extra points for FANS in their band’s fan’s costumes!” And the icing on the very sweet cake? The battle will be judged by Seattle super-fan, Matt Brown, which means those who rock will be duely rewarded. Here’s the schedule for the night, me thinks this is where Sound on the Sound will end up for Halloween.
